If you post images using Windows Live Writer make sure it doesn’t resize them. You’ll lose all detail. Really abysmal sizing. Compare the one below to the ones I’ve recently posted. Then compare those to their flickr copies. (Just click on them.)
I’d make a sized version for posting and then post the original on flickr.
Edit: This may have been a firefox issue. Not sure. I’m not blaming Windows Live Writer at the moment.
I wasn’t expecting it and there were way less leaves on the trees today. A few more shots today. Keepers are getting pretty slim…
Not too much left. And if it doesn’t clear up tomorrow there probably won’t be any more. Took an interesting set of images over at RNC. Here is one.
This is a wallet, of sorts, for kayakers. For anyone that worries about things getting soaked. One thing I’ve found it to be really good for is holding my 52mm polarizing filter for my micro four thirds lenses. It hangs around your neck. Doesn’t get wet. Really protects the contents. Tip it upside down and the filter falls out. Hard to smudge it or fog it in there. I think I’ll fill the bottom with silica gel packets.
Now I just need to figure out how to clip my lens hoods to my body. (Pockets are not good for lens hoods. They tend to scoop up whatever is in your pockets and hurl that stuff to the ground when you go to retrieve your hood.
Wish I knew where I got this. Has www.witzprod.com on the bottom.
Edit: Yes, I realize that is a Promaster filter in there. Haven’t had the cash to buy a decent filter.
Edit 2: It isn’t quite big enough to hold my B+W 58mm kaesemann polarizer.
Nipped out to Richardson Nature Center again. A few hours earlier today than yesterday. So I had some decent like to work with.
Went to Richardson Nature Center after the Vikes pulled out the lucky win. I’ve more to go through but here are a couple.
I’d guess the color will be decent for 1 to 2 weeks. Not quite there yet.
Got out to Lake Maria today. Some fall color photos coming. The park isn’t quite ready for fall color photos but there are some nice ones.
Anyway, I liked this ….
It is supposed to get butt cold in the next few days. So I’m glad I decided to go up there today.
