This is from a couple of weeks ago.  Panasonic G1 with 14-45.

This shot is a pretty good example of where the G1 falls down.  I had to bounce the ISO up to shoot these guys.  I also had to move out to about 200mm.  Makes it very noisy and puts the lens well out of its sweet spot.  Still worth the effort.  I would not have carried a canon with me with more than 50mm due to the weight.

Converted to B+W since the horrible green of the water was, well, horrible green.

Unfortunately they do not pay for photo use.  But at least they attribute.  (Zoo page over at Schmap.)

Edit: One should really not give photos away.  It screws the market for those who are trying to make money via photography.

By record they should have had the 5th pick.  After the draft lottery they ended up with the 6th pick.

Yes, that is green.  It is a green tea latte.  It was poison.  Looked and tasted like a latte made from lawn clippings.  Remarkably barfable.  (Although I didn’t.  My stomach did do flips.)  If they had handed me this and asked what I thought I would have had to strike them.
