Silly effect here. I like the flowers well enough but the background was so distracting I had to do something with it. Not sure I should have done this. Canon G9 in macro mode.

Even More Richardson Nature Center
I like a bunch of things about this. I think it will print beautifully. At screen size I don’t know what to make of it.

100% crop from the 18-55IS
A little over done in ACR but I like it. Plenty of detail. I could certainly be happy using this lens. This isn’t a corner but the corners look pretty good, too.
Backlit Tree
From Richardson Nature Center. This is using the 18-55IS that I’ve been borrowing. Much better lens than its predecessor, the non IS 18-55. The highlights are burned out but I kind of like it.
