There is a thing that noise reduction doesn’t like and it is ISO 1600 with a lot of tiny detail.

This is from winter a couple of years ago. The sky was a nice blue but my camera sure didn’t record it. Anywho, I really like the burned out highlights. Rare that in digital.

This is a bit (lot) middle of the day to really work in color. If I spent more time on it I think I have a printable black and white. (Sorting out the contrast on the area right in the middle is the big problem.

Oodles of black eyed susans. You can see the wind whipping through them. (Maybe not at this size.)

The Canon 17-85 IS lens does wonders so long as you use it within its limits. Pleased with the level of detail on this one. (Some cloning of debris and extraneous flowers.)

I like the sky. I think I’ll use it in something that doesn’t have a good sky.
