From last winter.

I’m playing with the blurb software (www.blurb.com) which means I need some images. (Like at least 20-40 of them or the book will be thin.) Going through the archives looking for suitable pictures. I’ve been going through a set of flower photos from Flandrau State Park. This one is kind of nice. I don’t know if it will make the cut but I like it enough to post here.

Wild River. There is a very nice prairie there. Just wide open and peaceful. (Supposedly there was a bear near there but I didn’t see it.)
Anywho, this is a split tone. Hard to tell. It gives the feel of, I think, a type for Agfa film I used to use on occassion. Not sure which. (Been a long time.) Maybe Ultracolor or something like that. I just recall it being unnatural.

The Tamron 17-50 f2.8 arrived. I now have a serious need to sell a bunch of stuff on ebay.
Obligatory new lens cat photo.

A small part of a much larger image. I wish I’d seen it then. I know how I would have framed it. This doesn’t work. But I know how it could have. Very irritating.

This is from about a year ago. I have it on my wall to see what I think of it. I’m kind of liking it. (I’ve made one crop to the one on the wall so far.)

Very nice lens. I might have to buy one.

It isn’t this clean right now.

More ACR and CS3 testing.
