No Car
Got my deposit back.
Either the local guy fucked around until the remote guy (the one with the car) decided it wasn’t sold and sold it himself. OR the remote guy fucked around to keep the car on the lot for a memorial day sale.
Either way the car sold. The sales guy found exactly one car to my specs in 300 dealers. And it was black which I didn’t want.
Anywho, the Versa is looking pretty good to me right now. Or the Rabbit. I should call the Rabbit guy.
The Vue knows
My Saturn Vue is clearly desperate. It got 24.5mpg on its last tank of gas. Mostly city driving. It knows I want to replace it.
In other news supposedly they got my Focus. They just haven’t been able to get it into town. In theory I’ll have it Monday or Tuesday. Would be nice.
Oldie from Lake Maria
This isn’t tack sharp. The bird is about to grab something in the water. So there is definite subject motion.

Just testing the current Live Writer Beta
It is up to version 1.0.1 (6). I wonder if it will hose my photos. So let’s post the last photo. See what it does. So, does it look the same as the photo below it?

Richardson Nature Center
From a couple years ago. Another split toning. It is a sickness.

What will it be?
Either a Liquid Grey 2007 Ford Focus ZX3 SES or a Kiwi Green 2007 Ford Focus ZX3 SE should be winging its way to Metro Ford tomorrow. I think I picked the Kiwi Green as my first choice.
Sadly I decided I’d rather have this color green (Seen on the ZX5.) than the 16″ wheels of the SES. But the price is virtually the same between the two.

I won’t be upset if they can’t get it.
Wolves
They had the exact same odds as Portland but obviously they were punished by the basketball gods for tanking at the end of the season.
Handheld Macros
The last few photos were handheld macro without IS. Shutter speed is your friend.

Ferns
I like ferns. I don’t know why. Here is a fern using the 50 f1.4 with an extension tube.
Again, I did a split tone. However this one was done using the same color for both shadows and highlights. Just different levels of saturation and the balance was cranked to one side.
